C3 — Citizenship Countdown (Path to Citizen)

The Challenge

Canadian Permanent Residents must manually track 1,095 days of physical presence and prepare for the 20-question citizenship test. Fragmented trip records and complex PDF reporting create compliance friction.

Solutions

• Built a Live Dashboard with circular progress tracking that updates physical presence in real-time according to IRCC rules.
• Implemented automatic country flag detection and entry/exit logging for trips outside Canada.
• Designed a mock citizenship exam suite and spaced-repetition flashcards covering all 10 chapters of Discover Canada.
• Engineered local-first biometric security (Face ID/Touch ID) and end-to-end encrypted device storage for personal records.

Outcomes

• Bilingual support (English & French) launched with seamless switch controls.
• One-click CIT 0407 document export generating formatted PDF reports matching official IRCC forms.
• Active user testing via Apple App Store TestFlight and Google Play Internal Testing.
